Christmas in Banff

With Alberta's new restrictions on restaurants, dining out will unfortunately not be an option while visiting; however many of Banff's top restaurants will be offering delivery and/or pick-up options. Please find below a list of dining options that are currently available.

The holiday season may look different this year, but if you are planning to spend some time in Banff here is a list of some fun and safe activities for you and your family to enjoy while visiting us!

Skating

Enjoy one of the incredible outdoor skating locations in the Bow Valley. One of our favourite spots is Vermillion Lakes, located just a few minutes from the Bow View Lodge and Banff Park Lodge. Other popular outdoor ice surfaces include Two Jack Lake, Lake Louise, and Lake Minnewanka which offer some of the best panoramic views of the mountains.

Tunnel Mountain Hike

Located right in the heart of Banff, Tunnel Mountain trail is a great afternoon hike that can be done in less than 2 hours. From the top, you will get a breathtaking view of Banff which makes for the perfect backdrop for some stunning photographs.

Dog Sledding
