Bow View Lodge Room Attendant

Seeking full-time, permanent Room Attendants, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 32-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies
• Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Ideal Candidate:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Must follow grooming standards
• Experience is an asset

Summer 2019 Work Experience - Culinary Students

Seeking full-time, summer students, interested in gaining experience in a hotel kitchen environment. We are looking for First Cooks and Second Cooks to join our kitchen team, flexibility to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays is required. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 32-40 hours per week.

• Adhere to Alberta Health Regulations
• Ensure that the quality and quantity of the food prepared meets hotel standards

Pastry Cook

We are seeking a full-time permanent Pastry Cook, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience, 32-40 hours per week

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare, cook and service all pastry items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment.
  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Other duties as assigned.

Banquet Server (start date mid-January)

We are currently seeking a full-time Banquet Server, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours.

Duties include:

  • Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage service
  • Work with fellow banquet servers and management team to provide a consistently high standard of service in areas such as meeting set ups and all meal functions
  • Ensure all coffee breaks/meals/meeting rooms are set up for the required time
  • Effectively handle guest concerns through empowerment, and report any irregularities to management
