General Information

The Bow View Lodge is the only 3 Star Canada Select hotel with 58 rooms located directly on the beautiful Bow River, where you can enjoy a river walk along a tree-lined path that offers an exceptional view of the surrounding mountains and occasional wildlife. We are only 2 ½ blocks from downtown Banff where you can enjoy all the finest shopping, dining and entertainment a world-class resort has to offer.

Canada's Banff National Park, which includes breathtaking Lake Louise, is one of the most photographed spots in the world. When you see it for yourself, you'll understand why. Everywhere you look - or ski, or hike, or climb, or canoe, or walk, or wander - is scenery that's impossibly magnificent!

Hotel Accommodation

Our 58 guestrooms are decorated with beautiful, handcrafted solid oak furniture. Each room includes a coffee maker, convenience fridge, cable television, clock radio, direct dial telephone with data-port and voice mail system, a table with two chairs, large dresser, hair dryer, individual climate control, private bathroom with full bath. Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor have balconies. Ask us about our adjoining rooms.

Choose one of the following styles to fit your needs:
25 Riverview Rooms with either 1 king size bed, 1 queen size bed or 2 double beds.
29 Standard Rooms with either 1 king size bed or 2 double beds.

If more space is needed to accommodate those travelling with you, why not choose one of our 3 spacious Family Rooms, which have two separate bedrooms. The 1st bedroom comes with 1queen size bed, sitting area with a sofa hide-a-bed while the 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds.

The River Suite is the only Suite in Banff overlooking the Bow River. It has two queen size beds with sumptuous down-filled duvets, a walk-in shower for two with a rain shower head and three body sprays, 37" plasma television, air-conditioning with in-room climate control, seating area with oversized windows to optimize the spectacular view, microwave, coffeemaker with built in grinder and a IPod docking station. This Suite can be converted to a meeting room for up to 24 people; call us for details.

Our Premier Property:

The Banff Park Lodge, our premier property, is located directly adjacent to our Lodge. As our guest, you get to enjoy their fine restaurants, indoor saltwater pool, Jacuzzi and steam room, shopping and concierge services.
